Biography

MARLON JAMES S. SALES graduated magna cum laude from the BA Communication Research program of the UP College of Mass Communication. He is the valedictorian of UP CMC Batch 2004. His undergraduate thesis “The Cultural Appropriation of Transnational Broadcast Media Text through the Translation of Key Words of Gender and Class: Meteor Garden in Exploratory Focus” was named the Best Thesis in Communication Research for 2004. He is pursuing his master’s degree in Spanish at the UP College of Arts and Letters.
