Biography

Anurag Sahu, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the KIIT School of Mass Communication, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology – Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, India. He has a long period of academic and industry experience in media and communication education. He has industry experience in print, advertising and public relations. He has completed his Ph.D. from Berhampur University, Odisha, India. His doctoral research is on the topic “Development News Coverage in Daily Newspapers: A Critical Case Study on Three Leading Odia Dailies”. His research interest includes Development Journalism, Communication Research, Rural Development and New Media Technology. Apart from teaching he is actively involved in photography and preparing study materials for the students of journalism and mass communication.
