Biography

JOHNATHAN L. RONDINA is an assistant professor of the Women and Mass Communication Program of St. Scholastica’s College.  He is also an independent journalist whose work on Filipina migrant wives earned for him the Truth Award for Investigative Journalism in 2003. Prof. Rondina obtained his undergraduate degree in Broadcast Communication (cum laude) and his M.A. in Communication from the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UP CMC).  This paper was based on his graduate thesis, which was cited as the Best M.A. Thesis by the UP CMC in 2002.
