Early View
To further serve Plaridel journal clients through the fast and timely publication of research, the Office of Research and Publication of the UP College of Mass Communication has instituted the Early View service.
As a service to authors, contributors, and the community it serves, Plaridel publishes articles that have completed the publication process ahead of the compiled volume and issue. The Early View service of Plaridel presents accepted, full-text, peer-reviewed, and copyedited articles. An article may be published as soon as the corrected proofs are received from the author.
Articles in Early View are available for its readers until these are compiled into a volume and assigned issues where these will appear in their final form. When assigned a volume and issue, an article will then be tagged and assigned the appropriate page range and removed from the Early View service.
Articles in Early View are not available for download.

- Reference list: AuthorLastname, A., (2021). Title of article. Plaridel, volume(issue), page range. DOI/URL
